Our processing is based on your use of the Bot (performance of a service), your or your server administrator’s configuration choices (legitimate interests), and where required by law, your consent. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising purposes.
The Bot runs on and integrates with Discord. Any data you provide to or through Discord is also subject to Discord’s Privacy Policy. We may use hosting or infrastructure providers to run the Bot and store data; such providers process data on our instructions and in line with this policy. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing.

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us (see Contact below); we will respond in accordance with applicable law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA). Leaving a server that uses the Bot may also result in your server-specific data no longer being used for that server.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Obsidian Overseer (the “Bot”) and any related website or services (together, the “Services”) operated by the Bot’s developer(s) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By inviting the Bot to a Discord server, using the Bot, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by Discord’s Terms of Service and Developer Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of a server or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that server or organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
The Bot provides Discord server management and community features, including but not limited to: voice channel tools, economy and XP systems, events and reminders, moderation tools, applications and tickets, Warframe-related information (e.g. Baro, cycles, alerts), and other functionality as described on our website. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use Discord) to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for all activity that occurs through your use of the Bot in servers you administer. Server administrators are responsible for configuring the Bot appropriately and for the conduct of users in their server in relation to Bot features.
You agree not to use the Bot or our website to:
We reserve the right to remove the Bot from servers or to restrict access for users who violate these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Services or others. Server staff are responsible for their server’s use of moderation and other Bot features.
The Bot, our website, and their content (excluding user-generated content and Discord’s property) are owned by us or our licensors. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Bot or our website without our prior written consent. “Obsidian Overseer” and related branding are used for this project; we are not affiliated with Discord Inc. or Digital Extremes (Warframe).
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE BOT OR WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE (AND OUR DEVELOPERS, HOSTS, AND AFFILIATES) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our developers, hosts, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.
You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your Discord server(s). We may suspend or terminate your or any server’s access to the Bot at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state or jurisdiction in which the developer(s) reside, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring a claim in your country of residence if required by applicable law.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via our website or Discord server when feasible. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Bot and our website.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements. We may assign these Terms; you may not assign them without our consent.
For questions about these Terms, contact the developer team via the Contact page (contact.html).
